Privacy policy
The short version
Wheelspinly has no accounts and no sign-up. The entries you type into a wheel are processed in your browser and are not sent to our server.
What stays on your device
Your current wheel, saved wheels, team-generator names and settings (colors, sound, spin time) are kept in your browser's local storage so they are still there next time. Clearing your browser data removes them. We cannot see or restore them.
Share links
When you press Share, the wheel's title and entries are packed into the part of the link after the # sign. Browsers do not send that part to the web server, so the list is not stored by us. Anyone you give the link to can read the entries, so do not put private information in a wheel you share.
Hosting and logs
The site is served through Cloudflare. Like any website host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses and browser type to deliver pages and block abuse. We do not combine this with anything else and we do not sell data.
Advertising
If we show ads, they will be served by Google AdSense, which may use cookies to show and measure ads. You can manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. This policy will be updated before ads are turned on.
Children
The site is suitable for classroom use and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
